Sichterman Yachts is proud to announce its first official presence at the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival. The Dutch boutique yacht builder will present the Libertas 15M, a fast planning aluminium luxury motor boat.
The 53-foot (16.42m) luxury motor yacht Libertas was launched in 2020 in the Netherlands. The yacht’s interior and exterior were both designed by the famous yacht designer Cor D Rover and with naval architecture by Van Oossanen.
The Libertas was initially to be presented in 2020 at a private event at the Monaco Yacht Club. But unfortunately the presentation and other upcoming events had to be cancelled is due Covid-19.
The young organisation is pleased that the current circumstances make it possible to present the boat after all.
What sets this yacht apart is the timeless design and the Fast Planing Hull engineered by Van Oossanen. With a maximum of 40 knots with only 2x Volvo Penta IPS 950 and Seakeeper technology eliminating boat roll up to 95%, the Libertas offers both speed and great comfort for a maximum of 14 persons.
The Libertas is also a perfect and trustworthy limousine tender which takes its owners into port when they have anchored their super yacht off the coast.
As the result of a smart building process, Sichterman is able to reduce the construction time for their aluminum yachts up to 6 months compared to its competitors, guaranteeing the delivery of a yacht within 7 months.
